244th History 1974 |
The 244th Mobile Communications Squadron personnel and equipment were deployed to Camp Rilea, Oregon in support of exercise WESTACS III. The communications network extended from Fairchild AFB, Washington to Gowen Field , Boise, Idaho.
Sergeant William T. Geurts was named as the Outstanding Unit Airman of 1974.
